Featured in Your Sussex Wedding Magazine - Weald & Downland Living Museum shoot

Back in February, I collaborated with some wonderful wedding suppliers for a winter woodland wedding shoot at Weald and Downland Living Museum. I am delighted to say it has been featured in the June /July issue of Your Sussex Wedding Magazine. Seeing my work and The Amyverse listed as a supplier is such a great feeling.

The Weald and Downland Living Museum is a unique location for a wedding, set in the heart of the South Downs National Park. The theme for this shoot was woodland with a hint of glamour, and the venue was perfect for this, Weald and Downland Living Museum has the right amount of glamour and a rustic woodland feel.

We created a table set up in the stunning The Downland Gridshell,  an innovative modern timber building which has unique architecture and lots of charm.  For the shoot, I created matching table numbers, place cards and a welcome sign on beautiful navy matte card. Each piece was hand-lettered in silver dip pen calligraphy and I created an ink splash pattern on each piece to create a night sky effect. As the light catches the ink it shimmers which looks like little stars shining.  These details were complimented beautifully by the styling of Place Settings. To add a rustic feed they used their rustic trestle tables and the wooden finish suited the theme perfectly. They matched these with gorgeous chairs with navy seat pads to add a touch of colour.  I am in love with the plates and glasses they used, which worked so well with the stationery I created. I also created a chalkboard menu to showcase a delicious menu.

The Crazy Daisy Company decorated the tables with delphinium, phlox, astrantia, thlaspi, spray rose, eryngium, scabious, hellebore and amaranthus desert. The soft colours and delicate flowers looked so beautiful and really added to the woodland theme.

Bills Bakes created a beautiful semi-naked two tiered cake which looked so delicious.

Our beautiful model Larissa’s hair was styled by Your Event Stylist Sammie who created a gorgeous updo and Becky Howie MUA went for natural nude makeup.

Outside Tie the Knot Catering set up a Pizza station using To Have & To Hire’s lovely Rustic Cart. To Have and To Hire also provided a gorgeous doorway arch.
